INDOOR BOISE ACTIVITIES TO KEEP KIDS WARM THIS WINTER

With temperatures dropping, it can be difficult to find indoor options to entertain little ones. There’s plenty of spots in Boise where kids can have a blast while staying warm! Here are three indoor spots you might consider to bust those winter doldrums.

Enjoy the Great Outdoors Inside at Woodland Kids

Woodland Kids is an eco-friendly, Montessori-inspired indoor playground designed for ages 12 and under. With charming fake trees, a “fishing hole” and lots of logs to climb over, children will forget they’re not playing under the blue sky.

There’s a safe spot for tiny ones to enjoy tummy time or work on their crawling. While older children will love “shopping” in the farmer’s market or “cooking” a meal in the spacious play kitchen.

And parents can relax while their children play! The open space makes it easy to keep an eye on little ones while enjoying a snack or beverage. The best news? You only pay admission for children, not adults!

Check Out More Than Books at the Library

The Boise Library! is more than a spot where your kiddos can find a good bedtime book, there are a ton of activities for ages 0 and up. With 5 different locations spread across Boise, there’s sure to be a location near you.

New parents and their tiny ones might enjoy a weekly event like Baby Storytime and Play at the Main Library where they can enjoy storytime, singing and open play. For those with both a toddler and a babe, Tots and Toddlers at the Cole and Ustick location might be a better fit with stories and songs!

I

f your little one needs to get out their wiggles, then Music and Movement at the Main Library and Bown Crossing location is a great chance for kids to dance and move during a music-focused storytime. Take a look at the Library! event calendar to find the perfect event for your family!

Catch Air at Altitude Trampoline Park

There’s plenty of amazing activities for older kids at Altitude Trampoline Park, from a climbing wall to a trapeze swing. But there’s also a safe space for smaller children—the Kid’s Court!

This dedicated area is perfect for little ones to work on their gross motor skills. Dedicated court monitors keep an eye on the area to ensure that toddlers stay safe.

Stop in for Toddler Time (for ages 5 and under) every Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Toddlers jump at the discounted rate of $6.95 during this time, while parents can jump for an additional $2. Children under 2 jump free!

I hope you and your little ones enjoy these indoor entertainment options during the colder months. If you have any other suggestions for indoor options, please send them my way! I love knowing useful information for my clients.
