There’s something about market season in the Treasure Valley that just feels like summer is finally here. Slow Saturday mornings. Fresh flowers wrapped in brown paper. A tote bag full of local produce. Coffee in hand while live music drifts through the streets.
And honestly? It’s one of our favorite ways to spend a weekend around Boise.
From downtown Boise to Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell — and even a few hidden gems in between — the Treasure Valley has no shortage of incredible farmers markets and local maker events worth exploring this season.
Whether you’re searching for Idaho-grown produce, handmade goods, fresh sourdough, local flowers, or simply a slower way to enjoy the weekend, here’s your guide to spending a day at the market this spring and summer.
(And yes…you may want to bring the larger tote bag.) 😉

A true Boise staple, the Boise Farmers Market is a dream for food lovers. Located along Shoreline Drive, this market is centered around Idaho-grown and Idaho-made goods — think seasonal produce, local meats, farm eggs, fresh pastries, flowers, honey, and incredible ready-to-eat breakfast options.
There’s a reason locals show up early here. The energy is unmatched.
Perfect Pairing: Start the morning at Neckar Coffee for one of the best cappuccinos in Boise before heading to the market. Grab breakfast from a local vendor and take a walk along the Greenbelt afterward.

Why We Love Market Season
Markets are one of the things that make life in the Treasure Valley feel so connected. They give us a reason to slow down, support local businesses, meet neighbors, and enjoy the season a little more intentionally.
It’s also a reminder that home is about so much more than the house itself — it’s the routines, places, and community that shape everyday life.
And honestly? Some of the very best Treasure Valley mornings start with coffee, sunshine, and absolutely no real plan.
See you at the market!
