Christmas is just around the corner and if you are looking for some last minute gifts – we have you covered. These local companies have plenty of gifts available for everyone in your life, no matter how unique they are! 


Sagebrush Collaborative


Sagebrush Collaborative features handmade goods sold through vendor markets at a brick and mortar gift shop. There are over 70 artists at the collaborative from all over the Mountain West. 


You can find everything you can possibly think of, fine art, jewelry, wood working, leather work, hand sewn items and original artwork … to name just a few. Sagebrush Collaborative formed in November 2022 at a local Kava bar and has since expanded with help from local businesses. 


You can find the shop at 905 W. Warren Street, off Broadway in Boise. 


Mixed Greens


This downtown shop is a great place to find a nice hodge podge of products from local creators. There truly is something for everyone at Mixed Greens, ranging from jewelry, gift cards, kitchen stuff and a variety of rocks and gems. 


Everything is carefully curated in the shop and the inventory is constantly changing, so don’t be afraid to stop by if you haven’t in a while. They will also gift wrap your items, so it truly is a one stop shop. 


Mixed Greens is located on 9th Street in downtown Boise. 


Lark & Larder


Lark & Larder is a neighborhood market featuring local and regional products from farmers, producers, artists and makers. Along with gifts like fine art, jewelry and home goods; you can also find health and beauty products and foodstuffs like meat, cheese and dry goods. 


The shop has several pop ups coming up through Dec. 23, so there are plenty of opportunities to get unique gifts for your loved ones. Lark & Larder is located on N. Orchard Street, and there is the Mini Merry Makers Market happening as well, right next door! 


Crazy Neighbor 


For the eccentric and eclectic person in your life … Why not check out Crazy Neighbor? Located just outside of downtown Boise, Crazy Neighbor has all the things you need to enhance a person’s life. 


The owners have past experience in theater, fashion, hats and decor. You can find a wide variety of unique accessories, wigs, makeup, hats, decor and “what not” at Crazy Neighbor.


Check them out on W. Grove Street in Boise. 


Outdoor Exchange 


This one is for the outdoorsy person you know. Outdoor Exchange is a great and affordable place to get outdoor recreation gear and clothing. The owners make sure your used gear finds a new and loving home. 


The exchange has everything from ski and snowboard gear to summer activities like bike and camping gear. And if you’re looking to get rid of some gently used stuff, the staff will help you price your items so you get most of your money back quickly. 


Outdoor Exchange is located at 1405 W. Grove Street in Boise. 


Merry Makers Market


The Merry Makers Market is the perfect mix between an art show and a retail store. It’s open now through Christmas Eve with a curated selection from local artists. You’ll be able to find everything from art prints, jewelry, Idaho themed gifts and even treats for the fur baby in your life.


100% of all sales goes back to the artists and the market is entirely organized and run by the artists involved. This is the 8th year the Merry Makers Market has been running. 

The Merry Makers Market is happening at 1459 North Milwaukee Street.
