VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN OPTIONS IN BOISE

There are so many amazing restaurants to choose from within the Treasure Valley, whether you are in Northwest Boise or Eagle, the Bench or Southeast Boise. But for those who have either a vegetarian or vegan diet, it can be difficult to find a restaurant that caters to their requirements. Thankfully, the Treasure Valley has a diverse selection of restaurants to choose from!

BBQ4LIFE

One does not usually compute vegan with barbecue, but that is exactly what BBQ4LIFE offers patrons. All vegan dishes are smoked separately from the meat dishes, promising that vegans and vegetarians do not have to waste a second with concerns about cross contamination.

The Vegan Greens and Beans Burger is a fried assortment of fresh veggies and beans served with the traditional burger toppings. Or, order the Spicy Smoked Spaghetti Squash Sandwich smothers with barbecue sauce on a toasted roll. There is even vegan ice cream and chocolate cake to top off your meal with something sweet.

Wild Root

Wild Root Cafe in downtown Boise is a haven for those with food allergies or dietary restrictions. From gluten free offerings to vegetarian options, diners are sure to find something that fits their needs. Dishes include a tofu scramble, hummus wrap, and chickpea melt. The menu changes often at this charming cafe, so review the menu before stopping by to ensure you see something that peaks your interest. A visit to Wild Root ensures that you will find fresh, local ingredients in whatever dish you decide to enjoy.

Tin Box Boise

If you would rather skip the crowds or want to stay home in your pajamas, then order from Tin Box Boise. Owners Scott and Nicky Freymond follow a strict vegan diet and enjoy researching foods that promote overall health and wellness.

Tin Box creates and delivers the meals daily, even if you order for a week at a time. The multi-course, plant-based meals can be eaten for lunch or dinner, as delivery occurs between 11 am and 2 pm. Tin Box does have limited delivery within Boise, but meals can be picked up at their North End location.
